Playa Romance was part of the Camp Crafty Camp sculpture garden at Play Del Fuego a regional Burning Man event in 2026

The Angler fish has a bloody Ken head as bait, it looked great at night where it was a brightest light in the area.  Poor Ken always the side character. We had a journal where people could write what happened, lots of references to Ken being sacrificed by the girls, I loved the names people came up with for the girls (Sapphic Queens, Butterfly Princes, Bicycle Bitch).  

Just because the girls see the bait does not mean they were victims.  One of the things I love about Burner girls is their reliance, power and determination.  Who knows maybe the Angler fish was really an art car and these sparkle ponies got a free ride back to camp.  

You can see that this Burner babe did a nice job decorating her bike, she even has the tennis ball on the kickstand to stop the bike from sinking into the Playa.

The sculpture held up well in the rain which is an important aspect of Burner art, it needs to be able to withstand the elements

This art was exhibited in Camp Crafty Camp which gifts DIY wire statue gets so people can make their own man (or women).  The goal here is to get people crafting.
